Dear IGU National Committee,

Due to the postponement of the 2020 Istanbul Congress and General Assembly, I am writing to you in connection with two important matters that need to be resolved by e-ballot, viz. i) election of IGU President and four Vice-Presidents for the period 2020-2024, and ii) selection of the location for the 2028 International Geographical Congress.

i) I am enclosing herewith a file containing list of candidates for election, together with, for each candidate, the nomination letters (or emails), their summary statement and brief CV. Please note: according to the IGU Statutes, only Full Member countries in good standing may vote in the election; eligible members according to my records are listed in the table below.
