ISC IDSSD GeoUnions Distinguished Lecture Series
Following the successful Distinguished Lecture Series launched by the International Science Council (ISC) in 2022, as an initiative of its cluster of the International Unions and Associations Members dealing with Earth and space sciences (GeoUnions), in support of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD), the ISC GeoUnions are presenting a lecture series in recognition of the ratification
by the United Nations of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD). The lectures are aimed at highlighting the importance and role of science in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and will be of interest to researchers and students.
The third in the new series is to be presented by Professor William G. Moseley on Tuesday 13TH May 2025 at 12h00 UTC (GMT).
